Comment:

Woodstock offerings tend to be all over the map in terms of quality.  Bottled carbonation seems to go haywire at times.   Regardless, the product is well distributed throughout New England and is usually sold at a reasonable price, representing a good value.  The Woodstock Inn brewpub is easily among the best of the larger New England establishments in terms of atmosphere, variety, and service, and is well worth seeking out when you’re on the western side of the White Mountains.

Two of the better beers found in their regular rotation are Pig’s Ear Brown Ale — ABV 4.3 / IBU 25, and Old Man Oatmeal Stout — ABV 5.13.  For IPA fans, the 4000 Footer concoction is serviceable but hardly noteworthy.  Label graphics are a bit ham-fisted but don’t let that bother you, unless you plan to drink the label.
